KIEL is a brand of the company KIEL BIEN-ÊTRE, which promotes the baobab through its production, processing and marketing. This product contributes to improving the nutritional health status of children, pregnant women and elderly children and to the empowerment of rural women through baobab-derived products such as baobab pulp powder, baobab biscuits, baobab toast, baobab jam and others. KIEL has set up a technique for the market gardening of baobab leaves in order to allow our target to have fresh and nutritious leaves throughout the year, to contribute to the restoration of the baobab species and to allow families to plant nutritious baobab leaf gardens. The programme has trained around fifty women in marketing and gardening techniques using baobab leaves, which are now their source of income.
