Chronic noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of disability and death around the world. An important way to control NCDs is to focus on reducing the risk factors associated with these diseases and leveraging on education and information dissemination. Innovations and low-cost solutions are being developed by innovators aimed at assisting governments and other stakeholders to reduce the common modifiable risk factors of NCDs. Monitoring progress and trends of NCDs and their risk is important for guiding policy and priorities. This global database is a collection of innovations of innovations that address a spectrum of aspects around the management and lessening of impact of NCDs on individuals, society and the health system.
