E-Heza Data Solutions

E-Heza Data Solution is the first point-of-care digital health platform in Rwanda designed to optimize high quality care for families across the entire ecosystem of primary health care from villages to health centers and hospitals. E-Heza collects data required for effective clinical care and utilizes data trends to provide personalized care, improve engagement in care, celebrate successes and identify challenges before they become emergencies while preventing frontline health worker burnout by decreasing workloads, supporting workflows and maximizing opportunities for meaningful interactions with their patients. Personalized progress reports are sent to families via WhatsApp and provides tools to advocate for family health needs with other family members in the home. By ensuring quality data collection at the point of care, national governments and international institutions have access to reliable and real-time data to effectively drive public health decisions. Quality of care has increased by 135% to 92% and the percentage of pregnant women receiving four antenatal care visits has increased by 38% to 55%. Over 235,000 unique care encounters have been provided to more than 78,000 people across 130 facilities and villages in four districts in Rwanda.
