The Global Innovation and Creative Space (GIC Space) strives to ensure access to quality healthcare services through innovative and sustainable med tech solutions. GIC Space has developed GICMED, proprietary technology that can screen, diagnose and treat cervical and breast cancer amongst women. The GICMED technology comprises smartphone digital microscopy, colposcopy systems, and a telemedicine platform. Health workers are trained on how to use GICMED to enable women living even in the most remote areas to get screened and diagnosed for these cancers at the point of care by medical specialists and increase access treatment.
