ImpactAfya has a toll-free hotline call center that is accessible by clients and employees on a 24 - 7 basis to access one on one counseling, coaching and life management services. Issues addressed include stress management, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, caregiving, hybrid workplaces, COVID-19 safety precautions, COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, managerial challenges, sexual harassment, bullying, GBV, NCDs, MCH, healthy lifestyle, sleep disorders. Key concerns noted are stress related clinical manifestations such as ulcers, eating disorders, sleep disorders. non-compliance to investigations and medications for NCDs, stigma around seeking support for mental and emotional wellbeing. ImpactAfya is addressing these through targeted organization specific programs, surveys and awareness sessions. The wellness webinars range on topics around mental and emotional health, disease prevention, disease management and peer support group sessions. ImpactAfya has also recently released an e-learning training of trainers series for Diabetic Foot Assessment and are now working on the next series for accurate biometric measurements and diabetic foot dressing targeting primary health workers. The video clips are captioned in English with narration in Kiswahili. The cross-sectional team consists of counsellors, wellness coaches, life management specialists, medical practitioner, nutritionist, exercise physiologist.
