Description
Zipline started usingdrones to collect test samples from health facilities in rural areas, and deliver them to medical laboratories in the country’s two largest cities, Accra and Kumasi. Zipline drones were already being used in Ghana and Rwanda for blood transfer between healthcare facilities. This technology performs600 deliveries per day in Ghana and covers more than 500 hospitals.
